Cata is a sweet and gentle dog looking for a loving forever home. When she first came to the shelter, she showed signs of fearfulness, but with time and patience, she has made wonderful progress. Her confidence has grown and she enjoys positive social interactions with people she trusts! Cata is still working on feeling comfortable crossing thresholds and doorways while on leash, so her adopter should be prepared to continue helping her build confidence in these situations through gentle encouragement. Because Cata can be sensitive to sudden movements and loud noises, she’s looking for a calm home with children over 8 years old. With patience, kindness, and consistency, Cata will continue to blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be!
